1. Data we handle

  • Your content: audio files you add, segments cut from them (start and end times), decks, flags, repeat settings.
  • Activity: listening statistics and achievements.
  • Account (optional): email and password, or a Sign in with Apple identifier. Passwords are stored on the server in hashed form only.
  • Subscription: subscription type and expiry date. We never receive payment (card) details — payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
  • Technical data: app version, device model, OS version, crash reports.

1a. Subscriptions

  • Memoryzey Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription on iPhone in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play → Subscriptions.
  • To check your subscription status, an anonymous identifier and purchase receipt are sent to Qonversion. We never see or store your card details.

2. Where data is stored

  • Without an account: your audio and lessons are stored only on your phone.
  • With an account: your data is sent to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection for backup and sync across devices.
  • If you share a deck: the shared deck (its name and audio segments) is uploaded so it can be opened via a link. Anyone with the link can see it — please don't share private recordings.

3. Why we use it

To run the app, back up and sync, share decks, verify subscriptions, send reminders, find and fix bugs, and (if you choose) send news. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or give it to third parties for marketing.

4. Third-party services

  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — crash reports.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — notifications.
  • Qonversion — subscription status.
  • App Store / Google Play — purchases and payments.
  • Cloudflare — serving shared deck pages.

5. Permissions

  • Files: access only to the audio files you pick.
  • Notifications: for reminders and news. You can turn them off in system settings at any time.
  • Background playback: so audio keeps playing when the screen is locked.

6. Your rights

You can view, edit and delete your data in the app, sign out, and permanently delete your account (see: delete account). For requests: keraklystudio@gmail.com.

7. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
